About us
International Alumni Society is a global professional network connecting Sechenov University graduates worldwide.
The International Alumni Society of Sechenov University was founded on December 10, 2024 during the 1st Sechenov International Alumni Meeting.
Today, the IAS is a basis for developing new cooperation areas between Russia and foreign countries, strengthening the University's international reputation and creating a global professional network.
We offer opportunities for professional experience exchange, networking, integration into Russian culture and business realities as well as philanthropy.

Sechenov International Alumni Meeting
The annual meeting is a new stage in the development of international medical cooperation, forming the extensive humanitarian cooperation potential between Russia and foreign states.

The participants discussed IAS development plans: regional alumni clubs, a Business Club for biomedical entrepreneurs, refresher courses and other cooperation formats.

2nd Sechenov International Alumni Meeting

Foreign scientists of Sechenov University presented research results, while SU partners shared career opportunities for foreign citizens in Russia.
Webinars & regional meetings
IAS holds webinars, master-classes and meetings with experts. In 2025, two meetings of IAS members took place in Malaysia, where alumni shared professional experience and relived their SU student years.

The digital platform ‘Sechenov Alumni International’ was launched especially for the IAS to unite its members. This is a key tool for interaction between alumni, employers and SU employees.
On the ‘Sechenov Alumni International’ you can find long-time friends from Sechenov University, implement your projects and ideas with the assistance of SU employees as well as develop partnerships.
